Meet the LPA Hawaii Officers
Maria McClellan- President
Maria McClellan has Morquio syndrome, resulting in her being 3 feet 2 inches tall. Maria was previously the Secretary for LPA Hawaii. Besides currently being President of the LPA Hawaii chapter, Maria is also an executive director for Morquio conferences and a college student. She loves advocating for disabilities access and rights. On her free time she enjoys making things such as weaving, drawing, painting, baking, and making origami.
Tiffany Moreno- Vice-President
Tiffany Moreno has Russell Silver Syndrome. Russell Silver Syndrome is also known as RSS and Silver Russell Syndrome. Tiffany is 3 feet 11 inches tall. She strives to help others to support and get involved in the community. Tiffany is a mother and a college student. She enjoys working in non-profit sectors, education, and social services. Tiffany loves animals and has a dog, cat, and two guinea pigs. On her free time she enjoys learning foreign languages, reading, drawing, and cooking. She knows Spanish and is currently studying Romanian and Russian.
Marianne Trung Hoang- Treasurer
Marianne Trung Hoang has Osteogenesis Imperfecta. Osteogenesis Imperfecta is also known as "brittle bones" or "glass bones". Despite her condition and short stature of 3 feet 11 inches tall, she still has a normal life as anyone else would have. Marianne is currently a Human Resources Manager for a local construction company. She strongly believes that no matter what size you are, that you can still strive to have the life that you wish to have and enjoy life. Her goal is to reach out to those who have disabilities and encourages them to live life.
